Roller blinds roll up or down by means of a cord and are frequently chosen for kitchens or bathrooms as a practical window treatment where the fabric needs to be water resistant, sponge-able or waterproof. They are easier to clean than roman blinds in these situations. Simply use a damp cloth or sponge.
You can have your chosen fabric embossed into a roller blind and there is a wide range of beautiful patterned fabrics to match your style. To add interest when they’re open, you can choose to have a different fabric on either side.
Roller blinds can also be used in bedrooms, but if so, it is best to order them with blackout material to exclude as much light as possible. Fit them set back in the recess as this also helps to reduce light seepage.
